The Shakopee Girls Softball Association’s philosophy is to provide a structured, enjoyable and learned softball experience for all participants. Both recreational and competitive opportunities are offered. The Association is affiliated with the Shakopee Parks and Recreation Department, but equal status is given to all girls from the area covered by School District 720 (regardless of whether they attend District 720 schools).

For all players wishing to play TRAVEL softball, TRYOUTS will be held on the following dates:

• Saturday March 3rd - all players
• Sunday March 4th - pitchers and catchers only
• Saturday March 10th - all players
• Sunday March 11th - pitchers and catchers only

Specific location & times for each age group will be announced on this website one week prior to the tryout dates.

Players must attend at least ONE of the two dates offered for tryouts.  Players can attend both weekends if they choose to.

ATTENTION -  The next winter clinic will be held this Sunday January 29th. 

• A Catchers Clinic will be offered from 5-6pm on January 29th at the Shakopee Middle School.  Players should bring their own catchers equipment.

• A Winter Clinic Date of FEBRUARY 19th will be offered and has been added to the calendar.
