Coaching Certification Requirements
Compliance is housed in the MN Softball Dashboard
- ACE and Background Checks are in your dashboard at https://mnsoftball.com/pages/dashboard
- Good for 365 days from completion
- Concussion certificates three years from completion of the training.
REQUIREMENTS
ACE Coaching Certification
Head coaches are required to pass ACE Coaching Certification.
The cost is $24.42 per coach. Your background check is bundled into this cost.
- This year, SGSA is paying for this directly.
Background Checks
All parents that are on the field or in the dugout need to get background checked.
The cost is $15 per adult. Must be registered in MN Softball and added to the team.
SafeSport
All parents that are on the field or in the dugout need to take at least one SafeSport course.
This is FREE after completing a USA Softball background check.
You will need to upload this to your Compliance page on MN Softball.
Concussion Training
All parents that are on the field or in the dugout need to complete concussion training.
This is FREE through the CDC or NFHS. You will need to upload this to your Compliance page on MN Softball.
